French President Emmanuel Macron has hosted Nigerian President Bola Tinubu to a private dinner at the Élysée Palace in Paris, with both leaders reaffirming the strong ties between Nigeria and France and their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation.
This was disclosed in a post on President Tinubu’s official X handle, describing the dinner with Macron as a pleasure.
He said their conversation reaffirmed the strong friendship between the two countries and their shared commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
“Our conversation reaffirmed the strong friendship between Nigeria and France, as well as our shared commitment to deepening cooperation and building a mutually beneficial partnership between our two nations,” Tinubu said.
He thanked Macron for his hospitality and friendship.
“I thank President Macron for his warm hospitality and friendship,” the president added.
