Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has named his starting XI for Nigeria’s World Cup qualifying clash against Madagascar, with Stanley Nwabali starting in goal.

Nwabali is protected by a back four of Ola Aina, Bruno Onyemaechi, Semi Ajayi and Calvin Bassey, while Wilfred Ndidi is also included in the starting lineup.

Ndidi also makes his 800th appearance for the Super Eagles

Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze and Alex Iwobi are among the attacking and midfield options selected by Chelle, with Chidera Ilenikhena and Adams also named in the starting XI.

The selection sees Chelle hand Ilenikhena a starting role as Nigeria look to begin their qualifying campaign with a positive result.

Nigeria’s bench includes Tolu Arokodare, Taiwo Awoniyi, Benjamin Fredrick, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Nwafor Nwaiwu, Maduka Okoye, Fernandez, Isaac, Moses Simon, Frank Onyeka and Raphael Onyedika.
