Cristiano Ronaldo became the first man to score in six World Cups as the 41-year-old netted twice in Portugal’s 5-0 win over Uzbekistan in Houston on Tuesday.
Ronaldo’s brace in the opening period, either side of a Nuno Mendes free-kick, as well as an Abduvohid Nematov own goal and a late Rafael Leao strike earned Portugal their first win in Group K and moved them to the brink of qualification to the knockout stages.
