  • Qatar reports “positive progress” as the US and Iran conclude indirect technical talks in Doha on issues related to the memorandum of understanding signed on June 17.
  • Tehran says a “communication channel” will be established with Washington to report and discuss breaches of the interim deal.
  • It also lodged a protest at the UN over Israel’s latest threat against its Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei describing it as “state terrorism”.
  • Israeli forces kill five Palestinians in Gaza and continue to launch attacks on southern Lebanon despite “ceasefire” agreements.
