Premier League clubs are stepping up their transfer activity as they race to complete signings and player departures before the September 1 transfer window deadline.

The Premier League summer transfer window has entered its final 23 days, with clubs having until September 1 to complete their business ahead of the 2026/27 season, PUNCH Online reported Saturday.

The window officially opened on June 15 and is scheduled to close at 11pm BST on Tuesday, September 1.

Several Premier League clubs have already completed notable deals, with Arsenal’s signing of Brazil international Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United among the latest major moves.

Chelsea have also been particularly active, bringing in Jordan Henderson, Valentin Barco, Danny Welbeck and Lacroix, while Newcastle have added Czech goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek from Braga and midfielder Aladji Bamba from Monaco.

Bournemouth have strengthened their defence with the arrivals of Juanlu Sanchez from Sevilla and Antonio Silva from Benfica, while Fulham have signed Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios from Real Madrid.

Elsewhere, Leeds have signed England goalkeeper James Trafford from Manchester City, Everton have added Christian Norgaard from Arsenal, and Crystal Palace have recruited Japan defender Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Promoted sides are also active in the market, with Hull City signing Jens Hjerto-Dahl, Konstantinos Tzolakis and Hidemasa Morita, while Coventry City have brought in Ghanaian midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi and goalkeeper Carl Rushworth from Brighton.

Ipswich have completed deals for Sasa Lukic, Florentino Luis, Kjell Scherpen and Japan forward Daizen Maeda.

Brentford have also strengthened their midfield with Sangare in a club-record deal.

With 23 days remaining before the deadline, Premier League clubs still have until September 1 to complete further signings, departures and squad adjustments.

Meanwhile, Online reports that the final weeks of the window are traditionally when transfer activity intensifies, with clubs often completing late deals to address gaps identified during pre-season.

With the new Premier League campaign beginning on August 21, managers now have just over three weeks to finalise their squads.
