Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has approved the appointment of a commissioner, three special advisers and 1,000 aides as part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery across the state.

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of one commissioner, three special advisers, 90 senior special assistants and 910 special assistants.

In a statement on Thursday, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, said the appointments are aimed at strengthening governance and enhancing service delivery to the people of Ondo State.

Erelu Taibat Yemi Oloruntoba from Akoko North-West Local Government Area has been nominated as Commissioner for Special Duties, with her name forwarded to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.

The three Special Advisers appointed are:

1. Hon. Abimbola Fajolu (Ileoluji-Okeigbo LG) — Special Adviser, Environment.
2. Chief Ade Adeniyi (Ondo West LG) — Special Adviser, Rural and Community Development.
3. Mr. Muyiwa Ogunyemi (Akoko North-East LG) — Special Adviser, Transport.

The 90 Senior Special Assistants include:

1. Erelu Toyin Ogungbure — SSA, Women Mobilisation (South)
2. Bidemi Obayangbon — SSA, Forestry
3. Gboluge Olufunmi Alex — SSA, Community Engagement (South)
4. Hon. Akin Adeniyi — SSA, Community Engagement (Central)
5. Obayan Theophilus Ayodeji — SSA, Community Engagement (North)
6. Kelvin Solomon — SSA, Students Affairs
7. Adeolu Iwakun — SSA, Volunteer Services
8. Samson Job Bazuaye — SSA, Oil and Gas
9. Fade Ojamomi, Esq. — SSA, Youth Empowerment and Job Creation
10. Sam Adepoju — SSA, Public Engagement
11. Alhaji Samad Orijeminiyi — SSA, Scholarship
12. Mr. Victor Omodara — SSA, Grassroots Mobilisation
13. Abayomi Adefolalu — SSA, Photography
14. Alhaji Abdukadiri Adenoyi — SSA, Non-Indigenes
15. Prince Nzuoma Egbulefu — SSA, Non-Indigenes
16. Alhaji Garba Goni — SSA, Non-Indigenes

Adeniyan said the full list of the Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants would be released later.

According to him, the appointments take immediate effect.
