Barcelona came from behind to beat Galatasaray 4-1 in their UEFA Champions League encounter at Rams Park on Tuesday.
The hosts took the lead in the 28th minute through Aleksey Batrakov, who finished off an assist from Rafael Leão to put Galatasaray ahead.
Galatasaray’s opportunity to extend their lead was halted when a goal was ruled out for offside following a VAR review in the 36th minute.
João Cancelo restored parity for the visitors in the 43rd minute, converting Dani Olmo’s assist to make it 1-1 before the break.
Barcelona took control after half-time, with Fermín López putting them ahead five minutes into the second half. The midfielder scored in the 50th minute after being set up by Lamine Yamal.
Yamal provided another assist three minutes later, creating the opportunity for Anthony Gordon to score Barcelona’s third goal and extend their lead to 3-1.
The visitors continued to press, and Karim Adeyemi added a fourth in the 65th minute after receiving a pass from Gabriel Jesus.
Both teams made several substitutions as the match progressed, but Galatasaray could not find a way back into the game.
Roland Sallai and Rafael Leão received yellow cards for the hosts in the 86th and 64th minutes, respectively, as Barcelona maintained their three-goal advantage until the final whistle.
The result gave Barcelona a 4-1 victory away from home in the Champions League league phase.
