The Federal Government has opened the process for public memoranda on the proposed State Police Bill, with President Bola Tinubu’s aide, Nnadubem Moghalu, urging Nigerians to contribute to 17 key thematic areas before the legislation is finalised.

The Presidential Working Group on the National Policing Bill is open to receiving memoranda on state police from members of the public.

Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Planning and Research, Nnadubem Moghalu, disclosed this report Politics Today on Monday.

Moghalu also said that there are 17 thematic areas for Nigerians to contribute their input to the bill.
