The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially released the list of its governorship candidates and running mates for the 2027 general elections across several states.
This was contained in a statement, signed by the ADC’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, and posted on the party’s X handle on Friday evening.
The unveiling marks a significant step in the party’s preparations to contest key executive seats across the federation.
The list features notable political figures, former lawmakers, and leaders across the country.
Key pairings released by the party include the 2023 Labour Party (LP) candidate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour alongside his running mate Gbadamosi Olalere for Lagos State, Great Ogboru running with Afiari Gloria in Delta State, and former Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami paired with Zagi Mohammed in Kebbi State.
Other nominations include Herman Hembe (Benue State), Ahmad Kaita (Katsina State), Halliru Jika (Bauchi State), and Manir Daniya (Sokoto State).
