The Minister of Power, Joseph Tegbe
As Nigeria struggles to translate energy reforms into reliable electricity supply, industry stakeholders will meet next week to examine grid performance, gas availability and investment challenges, including whether the electricity market is ready to scale generation to 10,000 megawatts.
The 13th edition of Nigeria Energy, scheduled for October 27-29, 2026 at Landmark Centre, Lagos, is expected to attract more than 1,500 conference delegates, with over 40 sessions and more than 120 speakers addressing the country’s electricity challenges.
Exhibition Director, Energy Portfolio, Inc., Ade Yesufu, said: “Nigeria’s electricity challenge is no longer just about investment, policy reforms or installed capacity; it is about delivering reliable, affordable and accessible power to the people and businesses that need it most..”
However, the conference programme will feature the Minister of Power, Joseph Tegbe; President and Chief Executive Officer of Oando Energy Resources, Ademola Ogunbanjo, among others.
The Nigeria Energy Leadership Summit will examine investment, grid performance, electricity market reforms and gas-to-power reliability.
Besides, the Technical Excellence Forum will focus on practical measures to improve energy infrastructure, with sessions on grid cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered fault detection, energy efficiency and electric vehicle charging.
Alongside the conferences, the exhibition will connect energy professionals with suppliers, including Sun King, Allied Talent Partners and Eauxwell, providing opportunities to explore
products and services and discuss business requirements.
