AstraZeneca reported a more than two percent increase in after-tax profit, reaching $2.5 billion for the second quarter ending in June, compared to the same period a year earlier, the company said in its results statement.
British pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca on Monday said net profit rose in its second quarter, driven once again by strong growth in sales of its cancer drugs.
Profit after tax climbed more than two percent to $2.5 billion in the three months to the end of June, compared with the same period last year, AstraZeneca said in a results statement.
