Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has inspected vandalised sections of the Festac-Alakija Bridge, assuring residents that the structure remains safe and sound despite the damage.

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has visited the Festac-Alakija Bridge to inspect the portions of the bridge damaged by suspected vandals.
The governor made an on-the-spot assessment of the structure along with the contractors, state executive council members and local government chairmen.
In a post on X, his media aide, Gboyega Akosile, on Saturday, Sanwo-Olu was seen inspecting the pillars of the bridge.
The governor assured residents of the sound integrity of the bridge.
Sanwo-Olu, however, warned that the full weight of the law would be brought upon vandals and buyers of vandalised government property.
The governor also urged residents to desist from unscrupulous practices.
