8:36 a.m. – Governor Ademola Adeleke arrives at his PU in Ede
Incumbent governor and candidate of the Accord Party, Ademola Adeleke, arrives for accreditation and voting at his polling unit in Ede
8:30 a.m. – Accreditation and voting have officially commenced.
8:22 a.m. – At Sabo Agbongbe II, Ward 7, Polling Units 001 and 011, in Ede Local Government Area, voting cubicles and other voting materials had been set up as of 7:50 a.m.
Polling officers say they are waiting to begin the exercise by 8:30.
Voters are also seen waiting to cast their ballots, while some search for their names in the voters’ register displayed at the polling unit.
7:37 a.m. – Voters are gathering at Egbedore Ward, Abogunde Primary School polling unit, awaiting the commencement of accreditation and voting.
7:20 a.m. – Voters turn out at Unit 7 Oke-Oja in Oshogbo to exercise their franchise as INEC election officers get the polling unit set for the exercise to commence.
7:00 a.m. – Distribution of election materials for the Osun 2026 Governorship election has begun across the state.
