Kebbi State Deputy Governor Umar Abubakar-Tafida has reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and Governor Nasir Idris, expressing confidence in the party’s victory in the 2027 elections and urging members to unite behind its candidates.

The Kebbi State Deputy Governor, Umar Abubakar-Tafida, has reaffirmed his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Bola Tinubu, and Governor Nasir Idris.

Abubakar-Tafida stated this shortly after a meeting with Governor Idris at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi on Thursday.

He expressed confidence that the APC would secure victory in the 2027 general elections and urged party members in Kebbi State to close ranks and support all the party’s candidates.

The deputy governor also appealed to his supporters and associates to continue supporting Governor Idris for the success of his administration.

He thanked the people of Kebbi State for their prayers and support throughout his tenure, assuring them that he remained a loyal member of the APC and a committed servant of the people.

“My door remains open to continue to contribute to the progress of our state,” he said.
